Drove to Maupin on Sunday...beautiful day on the river. Salmonflies are everywhere....the fish haven't started taking the large adults. More warm weather on the way...should happen soon. Get Ready

Sandy Spey Clave

This year's Sandy Spey Clave was excellent. The Fly Fishing shop in Welches put on a great event. Manufactures such as Sage, Rio, Burkhiemer, Anderson...the list goes on. Casting demos by Tom Larimer, George Cook, and many more brought out loads of people. This event is the "Woodstock" of Spey Casting. The weather was great and the river was in perfect shape for testing as many rods as you could cast!
